After seeing pleas from frontline staff for some “ear savers” we’ve been busy 3D printing them!
Surgical masks loop around the ears and over time this can cause pain. These little 3D printed plastic clips allow the wearer to loop their mask around it as opposed to their ears, hence the the Ear Saver!
It takes approximately 20 minutes to print one and so far we’ve distributed close to 200!
The STL file for the Superman design can be found on Tinkercad. We increased the height to 2.6mm for robustness.
